Tom Kealy is a woodworking expert with a passion for making furniture, who will be the tutor for the woodworking courses. Completing his training at Parnham College under Robert Ingham, Tom has since then ran his own business designing and making bespoke furniture.
With over 30 years experience Tom has also undertaken work for a number of different
designers. In particular working as a workshop manager for John Makepeace at
Makepeace workshops.
Tom's natural understanding of wood and other materials comes from his wide experience of working with wood including forestry, timber frame buildings and cabinet making.
Tom is an experienced teacher, he taught at Parnham House and currently runs regular short courses at West Dean College in Sussex and teaches annually at the Centre for Furniture Craftsmanship in America.
