Starting from the early age of twelve,
Jason has over twenty years experience, not just in woodturning
but as a furniture maker, both as a pastime and commercially.
Enamoured with the beauty and diversity of grain pattern and colour, Jason enjoys
the challenge that woodturning presents and enjoys communicating that interest
and enjoyment to others, both in encouraging and developing their skills and
abilities. Furthermore, his long association with Axminster Power Tool Centre
has allowed him to build on his technical knowledge of woodworking tools and
machinery, enabling his students to benefit from his experience when choosing
or maintaining their turning tools and equipment.
A competent and discerning craftsman, Jason is well known and respected as a
leading woodturner both in this country and abroad, and regularly sells his
work
through galleries and craft centres.
