The Axminster Skill centre has been established to offer our customers the opportunity to develop their skills within the diverse range of woodworking, engineering and
associated crafts.

Since its inauguration it has gained in popularity, not only with our regular customers but also as a learning centre for both amateur and professional craftspeople in the UK and abroad.

Originally started by the late John Legg, a talented and dedicated woodturner, it continues with his aim to introduce and encourage beginners and has increasingly developed those aims towards other crafts and technical skills such as woodcarving and routing and in the use of specific tools and machinery.

The Skill Centre is fully equipped with the latest tools, machinery and safety equipment - all available to you when you attend a course   read more
