introduction

Reintroducing our popular Bowls and Platters course to give woodturners a chance to increase their knowledge of turning and design. This course is two days in duration to allow time to build on turning techniques with a focus on bowls and platters.

As with all of our courses, they involve ‘hands-on’ learning so that you gain as much as possible from your time spent with us and take home examples of the projects you have covered.

what you will learn
During the course you will cover design, wood selection, tool techniques such as cover end grain shear scraping and platter rim decoration and finishing, while gaining a wealth of ideas and knowledge from our experienced tutor.
