Aimed at those students who have attended our two day woodturning course and would like to brush up/refresh the skills they acquired. Please click here for details about our two day turning course.
5 students are taught in a group during this course.
The course will re-visit the various techniques covered including:
- Review of the six basic chisels
- Perfecting finishing techniques
- Re-examining sharpening procedures
A practice piece will be undertaken in the morning followed by a project to take home and keep in the afternoon.
All materials for set projects are included in the cost, as is tea/coffee and a light lunch on the day. Please check the course calendar for availability. Course hours will run from 9am - 5pm.
There is no upper age limit for students, however the minimum age is 14 years old and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the course and must not be left unattended during class hours.
