During this two day course, students will learn how to carve using a wide range of traditional and modern tools - the use of power carvers is also covered.
The course offers an excellent opportunity to experience the creativity and joy of woodcarving. Under the professional tuition of Ian Edwards, students will produce a carving of their own choice, working through each stage to a finished piece with advice from Ian to add proportion, dimension and realism to the finished work.
The students who are complete beginners can expect to come away with all the knowledge they need to start carving at home knowing they're on the right path from the beginning. For those who already have some experience in carving this is a great opportunity to have a professional help solve those niggling problems and take you on to the next step.
