The art of turning a hollow form has grown over the last decade, specialised tools have been developed to allow ever increasing possibilities to be achieved.
We often get asked about providing a course for this area of woodturning. With this in mind we have asked Nick Agar to run this two day course, an introduction to the art of the hollow form.
5 students are taught in a group during this course.
Over the two days you will look at how to select the best materials, learn how to mount the work, hollow it out safely and reverse turn the base. This is an intense course and as such is best suited to those with some woodturning experience. There is a substantial amount to learn in two days, but with Nick's step by step guidance, it is achievable.
Nick Agar is an expert at creating hollow forms and will be imparting his skills and many years of knowledge to students as guest tutor at the Axminster Skill Centre.
