A great course to enhance your turning skills further and personalise your work by incorporating carving, texture and colour using the latest including Dremels, power carvers and decorating tools along with stains, paints and waxes. Nick Agar is one of the leading turners who specialises in this field. Students will leave inspired to create new work and achieve stunning results.

There are a whole range of texturing and colouring materials that can be used, and the course will cover how to achieve the best results from materials and colours and give an insight into this stunning artistic art form.
Nick Agar is one of the leading turners in this area of woodturning and will be imparting his extensive skills and knowledge to students as guest tutor at the Axminster Skill Centre.
Over the two days you will be guided through many different effects that are simple and quick to accomplish, as Nick says "the possibilities are endless".
This following course events are available at the Axminster Skill Centre in Devon:
Course hours will run from 9am-5pm (including approximately half an hour for lunch).
All materials for set projects are included in the cost, as is tea/coffee and a light lunch on both days. Please check the course calendar for availability. Course hours will run from 9am - 5pm.
There is no upper age limit for students, however the minimum age is 14 years old and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the course and must not be left unattended during class hours.
